Criminal Warrants

Union County Sheriff's Office handles both felony and misdemeanor warrants. Misdemeanors are generally those crimes punishable by a fine and/or imprisonment in a county jail for no more than a year. Felonies are those more serious crimes where punishment can range from incarceration in a state prison to the death penalty.

The Sheriff's Office appreciates help from the public in the location of wanted persons. Civil Processes

Union County Sheriff's Office also serves many civil papers issued from the Magistrate's Office. The papers include: Counterclaims, Claim & Deliveries, Repossession, Judicial Sales of unclaimed property, Evictions, Subpoenas, restraining orders and interpleaders.

In 2018, 4,508 civil papers and warrants were served.
